SO UNFORTUNATE!!!! One Killed As Wind Storm Destroys Over 100 Houses In Nasarawa
A windstorm wreaked havoc in Agbashi community, Doma Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, resulting in one fatality and numerous injuries.
Vice-Chairman John Bako-Ari confirmed the incident, stating that it occurred on Tuesday and affected over 100 houses, as well as the Agbashi Central Mosque and a primary school.
Anthony Oshinyeka, acting Chairman of the Agbashi Development Association, expressed regret over the incident and urged the government to provide urgent assistance to alleviate the suffering of the affected residents.
He called for the immediate provision of relief materials and medical aid to the victims.
